Replaced two garage doors and installed two openers.

Our garage doors were very old and rotted. Thomas Giel replaced the old wood doors with R-17 insulated steel doors. Frank, the installer did an excellent job. While installing the doors he explained how we could install garage door openers. The duct work in our garage prevented the use of a conventional door opener. Frank installed the openers the next week. He was very neat and again did a great job. Although the type of openers we installed were expensive, it finally allowed us to have garage door openers.

Installed garage door and opener.

Excellent. This is my second experience with them, they had previously installed 2 garage doors at my old house. I was very happy with the work and id not hesitate to call them again. Their prices are not the absolute lowest but I think it's worth it; they do quality work.

This time there were a few challenges because the garage is kind of an odd shape and didn't have an existing door, so I needed a customer width (17.5") door, low headroom track, all the framing, and an opener and outlet, which increased the price... but overall it was about what I expected and actually not too much more than the 2 (single width) doors I had installed before.

There was a slight communication hiccup along the way where my emails were going down a black hole or something, but we got it sorted out and otherwise no complaints. The crew showed up on time and installed the door, it looks great and sits flush with no gaps, despite the garage itself being slightly out of square which they compensated for during framing.

A cable on one of my garage doors snapped on a Saturday. I called that day and left a message. I decided against a 24 hour service company due to a negative experience several years before in a different category. The responder returned my call at 8 AM on Monday and arranged for a service technician to call and confirm a time. The tech was at my house before 9 that morning. He repaired my door and inspected the other. Found another frayed cable. I agreed to more maintenance as I know non had been done on either door for a t least 10 years. The work included a set of new cables, 8 new pulleys, a door bracket, a new spring and several minor pieces of hardware. The work was done in an hour and all in all a great experience. The tech's name was John (a 16 year employee) and I would ask for him again should the need arise.

Went very well. The initial estimate was performed about a week and a half before the installation; the salesperson was knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. The prices he quoted were very reasonable, compared favorably to other quotes we received. The installers arrived on time, worked steadily and completed the work by afternoon. They did an excellent job of installation, cleaned up the area before they left, and gave us explicit information about care and maintenance of the doors.

I am very pleased with the quality of the materials and the work, and with the overall attitude of this company toward customers. I highly recommend them. We intend to contact them about installing storm/screen doors as well.

Giel Garage Doors installed 2 new single-wide garage doors, replaced all my existing 20-year-old garage door hardware, and installed 2 previously-purchased openers.

Both of my old openers had stopped working and needed replaced. I had bought 2 openers at Lowe's thinking I might try to install them myself. But then after reading that it takes 2 professionals several hours to install garage door openers I decided to just call the pros. I figured I might as well completely replace the doors and get new insulated doors at the same time.

The sales rep was very nice and explained everything well. He also pointed out how terribly the old stuff was installed; it was clearly an amateur job with incorrectly-installed parts all over the place! It took about 1 week from his visit to installation, everything was done very well and I am 100% pleased. My garage looks likes a whole different place, the openers are much quieter, I now have useful motion safety sensors, and the exterior looks great and matches my homes' siding. Only downside is that my garage doors are at the rear of my house, so I can't show it off to anyone! :)

We needed the contortion mechanism replaced in our Wayne-Dalton garage door. The service was performed the day after I called, per my request. He arrived and promptly diagnosed the problem and replaced the mechanism within an hour. The price was less than another quote I received over the phone. I was happy with my service and will use them again.

They replaced two garage door openers (I have two single doors), installed a wireless keypad, and replaced extension springs for both doors (four springs total). They also disposed of my old door openers and springs. The new openers were LiftMaster brand. I chose the LiftMaster product because it comes with a lifetime warranty for the motor and belt. I was impressed with how quiet the openers operate.

The job went very well. The technician arrived with the time frame expected. He acted professionally and the quality of the final product was great. After the installation was complete, he showed me how to use the openers and the keypad.

Sliding door made for our barn. Well build and professionally installed. Friendly workmen who cleaned up the area totally working in the rain.

Although it rained pretty steadily the workers did a great job and the barn door worked very well. Most of all the large opening in the barn was closed by their fast service very well and to our needed specifications. We liked their work.
