7 Critical Things You Should Know
BEFORE You Buy ANY Door!

1. Request a FREE digital picture of your new door on your home before you buy it, or the opportunity to see it in a showroom.
2. Know the difference in Installed R-Value and the R-Value of the door itself.  The Installed R-Value is your key to saving money on your fuel bills and is dependent on HOW it is installed!
3. Do the installers have over 100 hours of annual training?  Do they comply with OSHA and Building Codes?
4. Demand a Guarantee on the contractor’s work that’s PRE-PRINTED on the work order!  Not just the door or manufacturers materials, but the installing company’s labor should be a separate warranty.
5. Does the contractor offer different thicknesses of steel in the door and do they use heavy-duty hinges on ALL doors?
6. Do the door, mounting hardware, seals, and opener all work in harmony with each other for a safe, smooth and quiet operation?
7. For your safety – learn if your installer screens their employees, if so how often?
